I used to work as a cab driver and once got a fare to go to a city 20 miles away on a wait and return basis. I had just got to the cafe where I was going to wait when I got the call to go and pick the fare back up. So she had been at the destination just 15 minutes. When you consider that the fare was over �80.00 she was definitely not cheap. I didn't twig until we were on our way back, and an offer was made that a future journey might be paid for in kind, but I politely declined. My other half was amused and suggested that I might reconsider, but I never did.
