Would you consider a Police woman an acceptable costume for a Hero themed 21st?

Go traditional. Female officers can be inspirational but they are not hero's until they perform a heroic task. Same holds true with fire fighters. Not all dangerous jobs make you a hero or I would have been one wile working as an aircraft refueler. Better to be specific not generic.
