Flying with Continental Airlines?

I have booked recently to fly to Houston from London with Continental. Later I read so many bad reviews about their customer service/attitude of flight attendants etc I'm wondering if I have made a good choice (it will be my first experience of a transatlantic flight). I believe also Continental have merged with United and also with Lufthansa?
