In Fable 3, is there a way to open the Mistpeak Valley Demon Door without another player?

Long story short, the door requires you to interact with another player over Games for Windows Live. (this is stupid) I want to open it with just my own hero. Is there any way to do this? I'm not beyond modding or cheat codes. Obtaining the weapon inside without actually opening the door would be an acceptable, if imperfect substitute.
