Any Ways To Get My Story Out To The Public?

A friend and I have been working on a story right now. It's called "So Called Heroes" and since we read a lot of anime/manga, the way it's wrote is similar to that, with a lot of humor and adventure. And we just finished the first arc of it. Now what I really would like to do is try to find out some way to get it published, or just have people know about it and was wondering the best way to go about doing so? Please and thanks
