On sims 3 for PS3 is it possible to merge a household? ?

My sim married Morgan Kozen (the evil guy that lives in the gothic manor) and she wants to move in with him ( she has three kids that are young adults) because he has a much better house I want them to move in with him but when I asked him to move in and switched them all over to the manor save for Cevin and willow who I switched to the old house, they disappeared and I was left with kevin and willow. Then I tried to move out but Morgan isnt included and the option to merge isn't shown. Is it possible to merge that way or did the developers decide my money wasn't as good as a pc owners and took that option out too?
